### Must have:

### - We require an active TS/SCI security clearance. - We are looking for a mid-senior software developer with at least 6 years of software development or engineering experience. - We need strong proficiency in C++, Python, and/or Java, with experience in backend and distributed systems development. - We value experience with digital signal processing, image processing, Matlab, AWS, RESTful APIs and web services, orchestration, and containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker. - We need a solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization. - Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms such as Temporal, Airflow, or Prefect is important. - Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is preferred. - We look for knowledge of highly available, fault-tolerant system design. - We prefer candidates who have worked on-site at a customer location and can commute to Reston, VA. - Strong collaboration skills and experience working in an Agile development environment are required. - For the software developer focus, we also value strong C++ and Qt experience, Golang for server-side processing and API development, OpenGL and GPU-accelerated visualization, and multi-threaded performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

- We develop software architectures, systems, and applications, with a primary focus on front-end development. - We build new software from algorithm definitions and prototypes. - We collaborate with program teams to help plan future operations. - We apply and refine Agile development methods and tools. - We support sensor system design and fielding, special communications, and command and control in a team environment. - We prepare complex technical products to brief leadership on risks, outcomes, and likelihood of project success. - We present modeling efforts, results, conclusions, and recommendations to customers, leadership, and mission partners. - We integrate distributed data pipelines and streaming architectures to improve scalability and performance. - We ensure our software solutions are secure, resilient, and scalable for mission-critical needs. - We work closely with data engineers, analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts to enhance system performance. - We maintain and improve observability through logging, tracing, and monitoring capabilities.
