### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical discipline. - We require at least 3 years of systems engineering experience supporting the design, development, or evaluation of complex systems. - We require experience developing system concepts of operations, requirements and analysis, design and architecture, verification and validation, or comparable systems engineering work. - We require experience with systems engineering management plans and related artifacts such as test plans, MBSE or digital engineering implementation plans, or with defining systems engineering processes and technical performance measures. - We require familiarity with systems engineering, MBSE, and digital engineering tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, DOORS, Jira, and Confluence. - We require strong verbal and written communication skills, along with solid critical-thinking ability. - We require the ability to work effectively with and lead multidisciplinary teams, including industry and government stakeholders. - We require periodic travel, including short trips to sponsor offices at the Washington Navy Yard, contractor locations, and occasional travel to other military bases nationwide. - We require an active Secret security clearance, the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance, eligibility for a government security clearance investigation, and U.S. citizenship. - Preferred: We value an advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field. - Preferred: We value at least 5 years of systems engineering experience focused on complex systems across the lifecycle. - Preferred: We value demonstrated experience applying MBSE and digital engineering approaches to guide design, development, and evaluation activities. - Preferred: We value experience supporting complex systems or systems-of-systems efforts in early program phases. - Preferred: We value experience with Navy Strategic Systems programs and/or Air Force ICBM programs. - Preferred: We value an active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

- We provide systems engineering expertise to guide the design, development, and assessment of strategic weapon systems. - We participate in projects, studies, and technical working groups covering requirements development, analysis, concept and technology development, acquisition, test planning and execution, system evaluation, and risk assessment across the program lifecycle. - We apply systems engineering methods and analyses, including model-based systems engineering and digital engineering, to support strategic weapon system development. - We prepare formal briefings and reports to communicate technical recommendations and solutions to sponsors and stakeholders. - We clearly present proposed concepts, solutions, and analysis results to varied audiences.
