### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related discipline. - We are looking for substantial experience in semiconductor device testing, optoelectronics, or laser diode characterization. - We need a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex test challenges and deliver engineering-level solutions. - We expect a strong foundation in automated test systems, data acquisition, and statistical analysis tools. - We seek deep knowledge of semiconductor device physics and optical/electrical performance metrics. - We value excellent communication skills and proven success in cross-functional collaboration. - Preferred: experience with high-power laser diodes, photonics packaging, or reliability testing. - Preferred: proficiency in test automation programming using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or C/C . - Preferred: hands-on experience with DOE, SPC, FMEA, and other structured problem-solving methods. - Preferred: familiarity with high-volume manufacturing environments and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities:

- We lead the development, refinement, and long-term support of test processes for semiconductor devices, including laser diode chips, bars, arrays, and integrated assemblies. - We act as the key technical authority for resolving complex test and yield issues across production lines. - We perform advanced data analysis to assess device performance, uncover systemic issues, and drive sustained improvements. - We oversee validation and rollout of design changes, ensuring test readiness, accurate documentation, and stable processes. - We partner with R\&D, Product Development, and Operations to support new product introduction from prototype through full-scale manufacturing. - We design and improve automated test equipment, fixtures, and software to increase throughput, accuracy, and repeatability. - We drive yield enhancement and cost reduction efforts by identifying failure mechanisms and recommending design or process upgrades. - We promote best practices in test methodology, statistical process control, and data-driven decision-making. - We mentor junior engineers and technicians by providing technical guidance and training. - We ensure compliance with quality, safety, and reliability standards across all test operations.
