### - We require a bachelors degree in engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline. - We expect at least 5 years of relevant systems engineering experience. - We need a strong grasp of systems engineering principles and practices. - We require at least 3 years of hands-on MBSE experience. - We look for knowledge of digital engineering and systems engineering modeling methods and techniques. - We prefer familiarity with systems engineering frameworks such as DODAF and UAF. - We value the ability to analyze complex challenges and create practical, innovative solutions, especially in system architecture and integration. - We need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff. - We expect excellent organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and clear oral and written communication skills. - We require the willingness and ability to travel to work with prime contractors and government laboratories. - We require the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance by the start date and ultimately obtain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. - Preferred qualifications include a masters degree or higher in a related field. - Preferred qualifications include 10 or more years of relevant systems engineering experience. - Preferred qualifications include 5 or more years of hands-on MBSE experience. - Preferred qualifications include proficiency with modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx Enterprise Architect, Capella, Visual Paradigm, or IBM Engineering Systems Rational Rhapsody. - Preferred qualifications include knowledge of ship-based sensor systems and communications networks. - Preferred qualifications include experience with analysis, simulation, and validation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or similar domain-specific software. - Preferred qualifications include strong analytical skills in requirements analysis, risk assessment, and system performance evaluation. - Preferred qualifications include certifications from recognized professional engineering and MBSE organizations. - Preferred qualifications include holding a current Secret or higher security clearance.

Responsibilities:

- We develop our systems and digital engineering skills through training and collaboration with other systems engineers, digital engineers, and MBSE modelers. - We identify and apply methods, processes, and guidelines to create artifacts within the capability development process. - We contribute to teams advancing critical sensor and surveillance system capabilities. - We use digital engineering to analyze and assess existing and proposed system-of-systems and platform solutions. - We present concepts, solutions, and analysis results to sponsors and working groups. - We collaborate with engineers and scientists in a multidisciplinary environment to produce digital engineering deliverables. - We help lead the development and integration of sophisticated sensor systems using digital engineering and MBSE. - We support the establishment and communication of MBSE standards, technical contributions, and collaboration practices. - We provide technical direction while ensuring the timeliness, quality, and technical integrity of our work.
