### Must have:

### - We require a bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - We are looking for 10+ years of professional experience. - We need proven senior-level project experience, with the ability to execute tasks assigned by project leaders. - We require hands-on expertise with IaaS SEG platforms, especially Cisco IronPort; Proofpoint experience is a plus. - We need strong knowledge of Microsoft email environments, including Exchange Online/M365 and Exchange 2016/2019/SE. - We require a solid understanding of email security controls such as SPF, DKIM, DMARC, anti-spam, anti-malware, and related protections. - We need advanced PowerShell administration and scripting skills, including command-line proficiency. - We require strong experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and load balancers. - We need experience with ADFS, Entra ID, and SAML. - We require experience managing and optimizing Windows Server 2016/2019 in enterprise environments. - We need familiarity with virtual machines and vendor appliances. - We require strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes. - We value familiarity with standard server engineering tools and best practices. - We prefer experience with ServiceNow and change/incident management processes. - We prefer experience supporting company integrations during mergers and acquisitions. - Experience in the financial services industry is a plus. - Experience with Azure services and IaaS is a plus. - We require commute availability to New York, NY 10167, and relocation before start is preferred. - IronPort experience of at least 1 year is required.

Responsibilities:

- We collaborate closely with team members to deliver tasks successfully and provide out-of-hours support through an on-call rotation. - We manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects and carry out complex development work. - We advise management on potential solutions to technical issues. - We apply a strong understanding of development areas and how individual contributions support the overall health of the technology function. - We resolve a wide range of issues within our technology environment using best practices and established precedents. - We support project delivery and help technical and product managers assess software application requirements. - We develop and review detailed specifications for software solutions. - We work with the team and management to resolve development-related issues and inquiries. - We look for opportunities to improve processes and procedures. - We document system details, diagrams, and data flows for future reference by team members, technical groups, and management. - We create and maintain procedural documentation for team use. - We maintain system inventories.
