### - We need a Bachelor of Science in Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university, plus three to five years of experience. - We prefer at least 3 years of experience with medium- and high-voltage electrical testing in a high-voltage manufacturing setting. - Experience setting up and running HIPOT tests, including dielectric and insulation testing, is preferred; HIPOT certification is a plus. - You should be able to support safe test operations and recognize, assess, and mitigate safety risks. - Strong troubleshooting ability for systems and equipment is required. - You need experience creating clear documentation for test technicians and operators. - We expect a solid understanding of high-voltage best practices, including safe handling of high-voltage materials and equipment. - You should be able to spot issues that could affect high-voltage system integrity. - You must understand high-voltage and conductive hazards, including arc flash and short-circuit risks. - Completion of relevant training such as OSHA, NFPA 70E, Arc Flash PPE, LOTO, and high-voltage handling and grounding procedures is required. - Experience with panel and point-to-point wire assembly, medium-voltage, low-voltage, and high-power electronic assemblies is relevant for this startup environment. - We value the ability to read, interpret, and apply technical procedures, regulations, reports, and manuals. - Strong mathematical reasoning, including geometry, trigonometry, ratios, and statistical concepts, is important. - You should be able to define problems, analyze data, draw conclusions, and work through complex technical instructions. - The role requires walking frequently and lifting or carrying test equipment and computers up to 50 lbs. - Close vision and extended computer use are required. - The position is based on-site at our Prince George, VA facility.
Responsibilities:

- We are building a new factory startup, and you will help establish the operations and manufacturing team from the ground up. - You will support building fit-out, process flow creation, and the development of work instructions and related documentation. - You will design, develop, and maintain test procedures, test hardware, and software for electronic circuit board production. - You will review circuit board designs for testability requirements. - You will support manufacturing through failure analysis, tester debugging, and reduction of intermittent failures and test equipment downtime. - You will prepare testing recommendations and documentation from the design phase through initial production. - You will generate test data reports, analyze results, and prepare supporting documentation and recommendations. - You will review test equipment designs, data, and RMA issues with customers on a regular basis. - You will design and direct technical staff in building testing and test-control equipment. - You will coordinate the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices used to collect and reduce test data. - You will determine testing conditions, sequences, and phases of test operations. - You will oversee operational, functional, and performance phases of testing. - You will carry out moderately complex engineering test assignments for standard and custom devices. - You will analyze and interpret test data and produce technical reports for engineering and management teams. - You will use or develop software and hardware to run tests on machinery and equipment. - You will maintain test techniques in line with established company standards, including ISO and QS requirements. - You will train production testing staff on new procedures. - You will recruit, interview, coach, and help retain Process Technicians. - You will identify team strengths, development needs, and training requirements. - You will set measurable goals, review performance, and provide coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement. - You will facilitate communication across the department and encourage ideas, questions, and team input. - You will coordinate large teams during high-pressure situations and keep work focused during crises. - You will follow all safety, health, and security procedures at all times.
