### - Were looking for a bachelors degree in a related field plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent mix such as a masters degree with 2 years experience, a Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experience, or 8 years of related experience. - We need strong interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - We require 2+ years of experience building and deploying applications in AWS. - We require professional coding experience with Java. - We require 4+ years of experience using Git or a similar version control system. - Were seeking Atlanta-based candidates only, with the ability to work in the office 2 days per week. - Preferred: experience designing scalable cloud-native or serverless architectures. - Preferred: familiarity with container platforms such as Docker, ECS, or EKS, or infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CDK. - Preferred: experience with relational or NoSQL databases. - Preferred: exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, or ClaudeCode, especially in production or experimental settings. - Preferred: experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small development efforts.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and deploy reliable, scalable software solutions that align with user stories and acceptance criteria. - Create and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to support quality and stability. - Assist with functional testing for applications, modules, and new features. - Investigate, diagnose, and fix software defects and production incidents. - Decompose epics and user stories into technical work and provide accurate estimates. - Develop deep knowledge of the applications, systems, and services we support. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with a cross-functional team. - Document your work clearly and share knowledge across the team. - Monitor and manage AWS cloud infrastructure with attention to cost, performance, and security. - Improve infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to strengthen performance, security, and release speed. - Keep up with emerging tools, technologies, and industry trends relevant to our stack. - Explore and apply AI capabilities to enhance code quality, deployment workflows, and engineering innovation. - Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers through technical coaching and peer programming. - Influence design decisions and help shape long-term technical direction.

This role is suited to a curious, adaptable engineer who enjoys working across the stack, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and is eager to explore emerging technologies, especially AI, to help advance our core products. Youll work in a collaborative Agile setting using Scrum or Kanban, partnering closely with product owners and other teams. We offer a competitive base salary range of $101,500 to $169,100, with potential eligibility for additional incentive compensation. Our benefits include flexible paid vacation, seven paid holidays, up to 160 hours of paid wellness time annually, and additional leave options such as bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer, military, and parental leave.
