Sr. Open Source Software Engineer (Kafka)

Job Description

Lead end-to-end upstream initiatives in Apache Kafka, including design consensus and implementation. Mentor engineers and improve upstream infrastructure to enhance project quality and reduce maintenance burden.

Requirements: A minimum of 12 years of software engineering experience is required, with current Apache Kafka committer status and deep mastery of Kafka internals. Strong written communication skills and the ability to lead complex technical work through the open-source governance model are essential.
