Junior Software Engineer Intern

**Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional team, including members of the Partner Success team, to ensure partner needs are clearly understood and met
* Communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly within the team and to relevant stakeholders
* Build, maintain, and validate partner reports, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and reliable
* Maintain and update partner databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries as needed
* Develop, maintain, and monitor BI dashboards that surface educational data for partners, ensuring dashboards are accurate and refreshed on schedule
* Assist in troubleshooting data quality issues and implementing fixes to improve reporting reliability
* Use Git for version control and collaborate on code using standard branching and review practices
* Write and maintain scripts and data workflows using Python, SQL, and command-line tools
* Work with BigQuery (or similar data warehouses) to query, transform, and manage large datasets
* Support the ongoing improvement and maintenance of documentation for systems, data pipelines, and processes in Notion
* Follow established engineering and data best practices while continuing to learn and grow technical skills

**Experience:**

* Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a related field. Bachelor's degree a plus.
* 1+ year(s) of experience in software development and ability to learn quickly.
* History of work experience and collaboration, organizational skills and documentation
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
* Passion for education and innovation, with a commitment to our mission
