What You'll Do
==============

As the EHS\&S Engineer, you'll serve as a key member of the plant leadership team responsible for protecting employees, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving overall operational safety performance.

Responsibilities include:

* Lead Environmental, Health, Safety \& Security programs across multiple manufacturing facilities
* Develop and implement strategic EHSS initiatives that improve workplace safety and environmental compliance
* Manage departmental budgets and safety improvement projects
* Represent the facility on the Global EHSS Council
* Lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and continuous improvement initiatives
* Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety observations, incident investigations, and risk assessments
* Develop and deliver EHSS training programs for employees and leadership
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, TDEC, and other federal, state, and local regulations
* Manage Workers' Compensation processes and injury reduction initiatives
* Monitor key performance metrics and recommend process improvements
* Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization

Qualifications
==============

We're looking for professionals who have:

* Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
* **5+ years of Environmental, Health \& Safety experience within a manufacturing environment** (with degree)
* **8+ years of manufacturing EHS experience** (without degree)
* Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, TDEC, and environmental regulations
* Experience implementing or managing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
* Strong leadership abilities with the confidence to influence all levels of the organization
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
