Clearances Required Active Secret Clearance to start Citizenship Must be a current US citizen Location Onsite Huntsville Job Description TCS is searching for a Speciality Electrical Systems Engineer 34 The selected Software Engineer responsibilities will include the support of the Ground Weapons System GWS program as an individual contributor on the SPA team This role is responsible for developing SW products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency MDA The selected candidate should thrive in a fast paced work environment with high expectations significantly diverse assignments collaborativeteams comprised of all experience levels Basic Qualifications Systems Engineer Level 3 Bachelors Degree in a STEM Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related work experience or a Masters Degree in STEM and 3 years of related work experience or a PhD and 1 year of related work experienceSystems Engineer Level 4 Bachelors Degree in a STEM Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of related work experience or a Masters Degree in STEM and 6 years of related work experience or a PhD and 4 years of related work experienceMust have a current active in scope US Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application2 years of experience with requirements decomposition and management 4 Years for the Level 4 roleWorking knowledge of systems engineering principles and processesVerification experience or knowledgeExperience with requirements management tools such as DOORSExperience developing Certification or Verification packages for all levels of requirements including safety requirements for operations flight test and ground testExperience developing systems engineering and systems safety products in an Agile environmentSystem Safety Engineering experience conducting comprehensive system safety analyses IAW MIL STD 882E including Preliminary Hazard Analysis PHA Functional Hazard Analysis FHA System Hazard Analysis SHA and Operating \& Support Hazard Analysis O\&SHA to ensure compliance and mitigate operational risksMissile Defense Weapon System experienceMust be able to work on site in an office environmentPreferred Qualifications Experience with Requirement Verification methods such as TestGMD KnowledgeAssociate Safety Professional ASP Certified Safety Professional CSP CertificateDemonstrated independent planning organization and working in cross functional teams with a customer focusFamiliarity with Model Based Systems Engineering MBSE and associated toolsINCOSE or System Engineering certificationBenefits Highlights of our benefits include HealthDentalVision 401k match profit sharing Flexible Time Off STDLTDLife Insurance Referral Bonuses professional development reimbursement vacation sick leave and maternitypaternity leaveApply online or visit us at wwwtcs inccomcareers TCS Inc is an EEO Employer
