Job Title - TECHNICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Position Summary

Safety Projects Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and innovative Technical Design Engineer responsible for design development, engineering calculations, manufacturing drawings, technical coordination, and optimization of industrial special-purpose engineering systems.  

The role involves close coordination with production and project execution teams to ensure efficient and manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities

Design Engineering

? Design and develop:

? Structural support systems

? Special components

? Application-based engineering systems

? Prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings.

? Develop optimized and manufacturable design solutions.

? Ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

? Should be capable at conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Technical Activities

? Perform engineering and load calculations.

? Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication details.

? Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.

? Prepare technical specifications and design reports.

? Coordinate prototype development and testing activities.

Production Coordination

? Support the production team in resolving fabrication and manufacturing issues.

? Modify and optimize drawings based on manufacturing feasibility and site requirements.

? Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.

Site Coordination

? Review site measurements and installation requirements.

? Coordinate with project execution and installation teams.

? Provide technical support during installation and commissioning activities when required.

Software Knowledge

? AutoCAD

? SolidWorks

? Inventor

? Tekla (Preferred)

Qualification

? BE in Mechanical Engineering / Structural Engineering

Experience

? 5--10 years of relevant experience in industrial design engineering, fabrication design, or special-purpose engineering systems.

Skills Required

? Structural design and analysis

? Fabrication and sheet metal design

? Load calculations and engineering analysis

? BOM preparation and technical documentation

? Manufacturing drawing development

? Problem-solving and analytical skills

? Coordination and communication abilities
