**Senior Security Engineer - Modern SOC (Tier 3)**

**Remote (U.S.)**

A growing MSP/MSSP platform is hiring multiple **Senior Security Engineers** to serve as Tier 3 technical experts supporting complex enterprise customer environments while helping evolve the next generation of its Modern SOC.

These are highly technical, hands-on engineering roles focused on solving difficult security challenges across multiple customer environments. You'll work across security architecture, advanced engineering, detection engineering, incident response, automation, and modern security operations.

Success in this role requires the ability to quickly learn new technologies, support diverse enterprise environments, and solve complex security problems across a broad security stack.

**What You'll Do**

* Serve as the Tier 3 technical resource during complex customer incidents and escalations.
* Design, build, and enhance Modern SOC capabilities across enterprise customer environments.
* Participate in security architecture reviews and solution design discussions.
* Engineer, troubleshoot, and optimize security platforms across SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, cloud security, identity, network security, and detection technologies.
* Develop automation and orchestration workflows that improve operational efficiency.
* Partner with Security Engineering leadership to enhance existing services and introduce new security capabilities.
* Mentor Tier 1 and Tier 2 SOC analysts while helping establish engineering best practices.
* Evaluate emerging technologies and help shape the future direction of the security platform.

**Ideal Background**

* Experience as a Senior Security Engineer, Security Architect, Detection Engineer, Incident Response Engineer, MDR Engineer, or similar hands-on security engineering role.
* Experience supporting complex enterprise environments within an MSP, MSSP, professional services, consulting, or enterprise security organization.
* Strong enterprise networking and cybersecurity foundation.
* Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions.
* Comfortable working directly with enterprise customers during complex technical issues.
* Passion for engineering, architecture, and solving difficult technical problems.
* Comfortable moving between technologies rather than specializing in only one security platform.
