Water Resources Engineer

Job Description

Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Water Resources Engineer to their Louisville, Kentucky office!

Responsibilities:

* Design of wastewater treatment plants
* Design of gravity sewer and pump station that meet municipality standards
* Water distribution, storage and pumping design
* Water/sewer system master planning
* Permitting for railroad, DOT/Roadway, OEPA, and Municipalities
* Assist team with design of other civil engineering projects
* Use technical expertise to help team solve complicated issues

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
* 5+ years of experience
* Experience in professional design:
* Wastewater treatment plant design

* Hydraulics

* Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Treatment systems analysis

* Asset management and pipeline design hydraulics

* Inspection, condition assessment, and proper repair/rehabilitation design of sewers

* Experience with comprehending/interpreting codes
* Experience reading/understand construction drawings
* Experience developing estimates/budgets
* Proficient with AutoCAD and GIS software

Salary is commensurate with experience.
