### - Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline - 3 years of progressive experience in quality engineering, quality systems, or regulated manufacturing settings - Experience creating and enhancing quality processes and systems - Strong organizational, project coordination, and documentation abilities - Experience with process validation, risk reduction, and manufacturing readiness activities - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability - Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving startup or growth-focused environment - High attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MRP or quality management systems - Ability to protect confidential information and use sound professional judgment - Preferred: experience with AS9100 or ISO-compliant quality systems - Preferred: aerospace, defense, energetics, propellant, or rocket motor manufacturing background - Preferred: experience in startup facilities or greenfield manufacturing operations - Preferred: knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods - Preferred: experience with root cause analysis and corrective action systems - Preferred: working knowledge of GD\&T and technical drawing interpretation - Preferred: internal auditing or supplier quality experience - Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required - Must comply with company safety policies and drug-free workplace requirements - Must be able to work in both office and manufacturing environments - Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout manufacturing facilities for extended periods - Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) - Must be able to work in environments with noise, fumes, dust, and varying temperatures within OSHA standards - Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally - Must have adequate vision, hearing, and communication abilities, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities:

- Support the development, implementation, and upkeep of the Quality Management System aligned with AS9100 and company requirements - Lead quality system and process development efforts that support startup and operational readiness - Create, maintain, and refine quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and controlled documentation - Assist with document control, revision management, change control, and configuration management activities - Help develop inspection plans, quality standards, acceptance criteria, and manufacturing controls - Support preparation for internal, customer, and third-party audits - Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action initiatives using structured problem-solving methods - Review quality metrics, trends, and process data to uncover improvement opportunities and reduce risk - Support nonconformance management, including documentation, investigation, containment, and resolution tracking - Foster a culture of quality, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization - Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program teams to support manufacturing readiness and implementation - Collaborate with Nammo Perry and Nammo Raufoss quality teams to align standards and best practices across the enterprise - Support supplier quality activities and work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes - Take part in cross-functional project teams supporting facility startup and production readiness - Stay current on industry standards, customer expectations, and emerging quality best practices

Nammo Energetics Inc. is establishing a new solid rocket motor manufacturing facility in Perry, Florida, and we are leading the design, construction, qualification, and staffing of this next-generation site in support of critical defense programs. We are hiring a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to help build, implement, and continuously improve our Quality Management System from the ground up in a high-visibility manufacturing environment. This role offers the chance to shape quality operations for a brand-new facility, work closely with international teams including Nammo Raufoss in Norway, and contribute to mission-driven defense manufacturing.
