### Must have:
### - We require a high school diploma or GED, along with a vocational or technical background. - We look for extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration work, parts inventory and requisition, and exterior and interior surface preparation and painting. - We require at least 2 years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience. - We require a valid drivers license. - We require Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification. - We require meeting all applicable state and federal certification and licensing requirements.
Responsibilities:

- We respond to guest repair requests and work directly with guests to resolve maintenance concerns with minimal supervision. - We carry out preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and safe handling. - We identify shut-off valves, maintain maintenance inventory, and request parts and supplies as needed. - We communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved communication standards. - We read blueprints and electrical schematics and apply strong engineering and mechanical knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, carpentry, and related systems. - We perform complex repairs on physical property and equipment, including air conditioners, refrigeration units, pool heaters, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and other hotel systems. - We troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, toilets, drains, switches, outlets, TV systems, internet devices, vacuum cleaners, and similar equipment. - We follow Lockout/Tagout procedures before beginning maintenance work and use tools and materials safely. - We use engineering computer systems for preventive maintenance, energy management, and related functions. - We troubleshoot hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at an advanced level. - We train and mentor other engineers when needed and handle Engineer on Duty duties, including readings and rounds. - We follow company, safety, and security policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets. - We greet guests warmly, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and uphold quality standards. - We build positive working relationships, support team goals, communicate professionally, and complete additional duties as assigned.
