### - We require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which means U.S. citizenship is needed for employment; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance after start may be required. - We require the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP). - We require a bachelors degree or equivalent. - We require at least 2 years of experience in software development and/or software troubleshooting. - For Associate level, we prefer 2+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience. - For Experienced level, we prefer 5+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience. - For Senior level, we prefer 9+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience. - We prefer experience developing software in C, C++, or Ada. - We prefer experience with Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python. - We prefer experience developing in Linux and Windows environments. - We prefer experience with hardware and software integration. - We prefer experience designing, developing, integrating, applying, and testing software models, simulations, framework environments, tools, and applications using higher-level languages, assembly, and auto-code. - We prefer experience with API design, implementation, and testing. - We prefer experience in real-time software architecture and design methods, including knowledge of target environments, processor and network architecture, communication protocols, and electrical interfaces. - We prefer experience with build and execution environments involving hosts, processors, operating systems, and networks. - We prefer experience with verification, validation, certification, and qualification processes. - We prefer experience with container technologies, including container management, deployment, and troubleshooting. - We prefer a solid understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and security best practices.
Responsibilities:

- We partner with system lab teams to identify modernization needs and help generate solutions. - We identify problems proactively and communicate ideas and issues clearly to leadership and technical stakeholders. - We support the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments, and frameworks that improve test performance, safety, and system durability across the product lifecycle. - We work with stakeholders to review simulation requirements and understand the dynamics of the systems being modeled. - We support design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to evaluate and improve overall system performance and capability. - We contribute to data collection and data processing for simulation use. - We help validate, verify, and refine simulation code, models, tests, and environments; execute test procedures; document results; and compare outcomes against real-world data, benchmarks, and related models. - We document and maintain technical code, algorithms, specifications, and simulation model descriptions. - We collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate simulation software with hardware devices and systems. - We support the adoption of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and methods in our software simulation environment. - We help modernize, migrate, sustain, and update simulation software so legacy systems can run on newer operating systems.

We are hiring an F-22 System Test Tools \& Automation Software Engineer to join our F-22 Simulations and Testing Infrastructure team in Berkeley, Missouri. This is a 100% onsite role supporting our Boeing Defense, Space \& Security software engineering organization and our system-level labs for the F-22 Raptor.
