### **Key responsibilities include:**

* Design and develop new mechanical products, components, and manufacturing processes using 3D CAD software
* Create detailed part models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and GD\&T documentation for production
* Perform engineering calculations, design validation, and feasibility studies to support new product development
* Lead multiple engineering projects simultaneously from concept through product validation and production launch
* Develop manufacturing documentation, tooling concepts, and production methods to support efficient manufacturing
* Conduct research, testing, and analysis to evaluate product performance, reliability, and manufacturability
* Utilize Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, and systematic problem-solving techniques to improve products and processes
* Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and evaluate alternate designs to optimize performance and reliability
* Investigate product and equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
* Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and cross-functional teams to support existing products and new product introductions
* Read and interpret customer specifications, engineering standards, and technical requirements to ensure design compliance
* Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and professional presentations for internal and customer review
* Manage engineering documentation in accordance with quality management systems and manufacturing standards
* Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe and organized work environment

### **We're looking for someone with:**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering, or related field
* 3-5 years of mechanical design experience from concept to production
* Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and GD\&T
* Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and engineering problem-solving methodologies
