### Must have:

### - We require a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non-U.S. qualification directly related to the role. - We prefer ABET accreditation in the United States, although it is not mandatory. - We require at least 5 years of related work experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. - We prefer 9 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. - We prefer a masters degree or advanced coursework in relevant engineering or systems engineering disciplines. - We prefer prior experience as a systems or design engineer on commercial transport aircraft, including familiarity with ARP4754A. - We prefer proficiency with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, Jira, or similar platforms. - We prefer strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical topics with varied stakeholders. - We prefer experience working across functions and applying systems thinking to solve complex problems. - We prefer knowledge of engineering change processes and regulatory compliance requirements. - We prefer a systems engineering certification such as INCOSE ASEP. - We require the ability to meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person. - We require the selected candidate to work onsite in North Charleston, SC. - We require the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.

Responsibilities:

- We manage 787 Tier 0-2 requirements, including new requirements, modifications, and deviations, and guide change packages from launch through implementation. - We support design engineers through close collaboration and coaching during the requirement change process, ensuring evidence, traceability, and impact analyses are gathered. - We provide oversight and feedback to help engineers produce high-quality requirements aligned with best practices. - We coordinate multiple work packages at once, prioritize competing demands, and apply project management methods and tools. - We communicate progress, risks, and schedule effects to leadership and impacted stakeholders. - We develop, implement, and maintain program process guidance so systems engineering is executed consistently across design teams and commodities. - We mentor and coach teammates, build strong working relationships, and help sustain a culture of engineering excellence, safety, and technical leadership. - We lead technical design reviews to confirm quality expectations are met for all new, modified, and deviated requirements.
