Automation Engineer in Denver metropolitan area, CO

Job Description

**Position type: Fulltime
Location: Denver metropolitan area, CO
Job Requirements**

* Bachelor's or technical degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
* 2-4 years of hands-on experience in building and/or industrial automation preferred.
* Basic knowledge of programming to include Rockwell Automation, and/or Schneider Electric PLC /
* HMI / SCADA platforms required.
* Proficient with Python, Java, C/C++and PLC / HMI a plus.
* CODESYS -- based PLC Platforms a plus.
* AI / MQTT integration with PLCs, HMIs, or IIoT platforms a plus.
* Proficient in using Fluke digital multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers for diagnosing electrical and instrumentation systems.
* Proficient in trouble shooting instrumentation issues, including signal loss, sensor calibration, and loop integrity verification.
* Knowledge of automation control loops, field IO, P\&ID's.
* Knowledge of Mechanical \& Electrical Systems (MEP).
* Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* AutoCAD Electrical experience a plus.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
* 50-60% travel may be required.
