Senior Software Engineer, Backend (PBA - Growth)

Job Description

Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Powered by Affirm team, leading engineers through the design and implementation of APIs for enterprise merchants. Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to solve complex backend problems while maintaining system availability and quality standards.

Requirements: Requires 4+ years of experience in backend systems using Python or Kotlin, with a proven track record of building distributed systems on AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes. Candidates should possess strong technical planning skills and the ability to lead others through ambiguous technical challenges.
