### Must have:

### - Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Systems - At least 3 years of experience in data security, cybersecurity, or a closely related field - Practical experience with at least one data security platform such as BigID, Varonis, or Spirion - Practical experience with at least one DLP solution such as Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, or Symantec - Strong knowledge of data classification and governance principles - Strong understanding of data protection methods, including DLP, encryption, and tokenization - Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS - Experience working in enterprise IT environments, including cloud, endpoint, and SaaS - Familiarity with Linux and Kubernetes environments

Responsibilities:

- We own the day-to-day operation of our data security platforms - We onboard new data sources and maintain scanning coverage across environments - We continuously refine classification rules and validation processes to improve accuracy - We optimize DLP policies and enforcement controls to balance protection with usability - We identify overexposed, misclassified, or unprotected sensitive data and drive remediation - We assess data exposure risks and recommend mitigation measures - We validate the effectiveness of data protection controls such as DLP, encryption, and labeling - We support data-related incident investigations and perform root cause analysis - We partner with application, data, cloud, and business teams to improve data protection outcomes - We advise stakeholders on data classification, labeling, and handling best practices - We take part in working groups and governance forums to align on data security strategy - We coordinate with SOC, Identity, and Privacy teams to support integrated security operations - We look for ways to automate data discovery, classification, and response workflows - We improve operational processes for onboarding, tuning, and governance - We stay current on emerging risks such as insider threat, data leakage, and AI or data misuse - We contribute to enhancements in the enterprise data security strategy and roadmap - We support adoption of new data security and privacy capabilities
