POSITION SUMMARY Flexjet is currently seeking a talented a Software Engineer II who is passionate about innovation and backend technologies to join our development team Flexjet empowers software engineers to learn innovate and apply their skills to deliver technical solutions Our team has opportunities to work with varied departments for multiple brands across the private aviation industry DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES Directly responsible for designing developing and troubleshooting high performance and high availability APIs utilized by several consumers throughout the businessAnalyze technical requirements to design new components and applicationsManage new and existing products and applications throughout their lifecycleAdvise and support colleagues where your expertise will facilitate the achievement of common goalsIntroduce new solutions to the product and to your colleagues when appropriate for the business needsKeep abreast of advancements in technologies and development techniquesInteract with all departments and end users acting in development technical design and support roles EDUCATION \& EXPERIENCE 5 years as a software developer and proven experience at a senior levelBachelors Degree in related field or 2 additional years of equivalent work experienceSolid understanding of object oriented programming OOP Relational and NOSQL databases microservices architecture and computer science foundationsExperience working with Agile methodologyExpertise in development of servicesAPIs databases cloud services and the migration of legacy applicationsExperience in front end website development is a bonus REQUIRED SKILLS Working knowledge of NET 50 Framework NET Core Visual Studio CExperience in at least one Front end Scripting framework preferably Angular is a bonusAbility to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessaryAbility to adapt quickly to an existing complex environmentCandidate should be self motivated independent and exhibit relationship management skillsPassionate about building high quality systems with software implementation best practicesExceptional attention to detailWell developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team cultureCandidate should drive towards team solutions instead of independent heroismPossess excellent organizational skills and communication skills both written and verbal
