development and is community drivenAnd much more What you can expect to be doing Haley Ward is looking for a Water Resources Project Engineer who will plan organize and control the activities of projects to best accomplish the successful completion of all projects to which assigned while operating within the guidelines established by the Project Manager and within established schedules budgets and Quality AssuranceQuality Control QAQC policy constraints Typical projects will entail municipal water sewer and roadway infrastructure dams site planning and stormwater management You will work in a team environment on a broad range of engineering projects from planning through implementation Supports project team toward preparation of a professional economical and effective set of plans and specifications for each individual projectConducts engineering computations to design difficult and complex engineering projectsCommunicates directly with governmentalregulatory staff relative to design concepts and requirements Represents clients at regulatory agency hearings or meetingsPerforms overall quality control of the work budget schedule plans and reports regularly on project status to Project ManagerMonitors compliance with applicable codes practices QAQC policies performance standards and specificationsResponsible for the design concept of the plans and specificationsLead complex hydraulic design projects for municipal water distribution collection systems and treatment facilitiesEngineer pump stations from concept to commissioning including electrical controls telemetry and automation systemsConsults and advises field engineers contractors and inspectors regarding the construction phase of the projectCommunicates with the Project Manager on project strategy and matters that may impact the outcome of a projectAssists in preparation of project proposals including scope of work time schedule and manpower estimatesPromotes new business for the total company and for their own area of expertiseDesign and integrate SCADA control systems for automated monitoring and operation of waterwastewater infrastructureMentor junior engineers and drive innovation in sustainable design approaches What you will need to succeed BS in Civil Engineering requiredProfessional Engineer PE license with a minimum of 4 years of related experience OR Registration as an Engineer in Training EIT on track to attain PE license with a minimum of 5 years of related experienceMinimum of 3 years design experience with waterwastewater systemsSCADA systems interest design programming or integration of control systemsPump station design expertise from wet wells and pump systems to electricalcontrol systemsSkills in AutoCAD hydraulic modeling software and control system design desirableSound mathematical skills are requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills are requiredValid drivers license \& reliable transportation required A criminal
