Sr. Open Source Software Engineer (Kafka)

Job Description

Lead end-to-end upstream initiatives in Apache Kafka, including KIP authoring, design consensus, and implementation. Influence the project's long-term roadmap and provide binding committer reviews to ensure high-quality community contributions.

Requirements: Requires a minimum of 12 years of software engineering experience and current Apache Kafka committer status. Must possess expert Java skills and deep mastery of Kafka internals and distributed systems.
