our Civil Engineer V youll serve as one of GBAs trusted technical authorities for potable water infrastructure Youll provide strategic technical leadership on our most complex water projects establish engineering best practices mentor engineers across the organization and help shape the future of our Water Environment practice What Youll DoProvide technical leadership for complex potable water distribution transmission storage pump station and water treatment projectsServe as the technical authority for design quality engineering standards and Quality AssuranceQuality Control across multiple projectsLead design oversight for new and rehabilitation water distribution systems transmission mains storage tanks booster pump stations and water treatment facilitiesReview and approve complex engineering calculations hydraulic models technical studies plans specifications and reportsDevelop innovative engineering solutions for the firms most technically challenging water infrastructure projectsEstablish engineering best practices technical standards and design approaches that strengthen project deliveryPartner with Project Leaders and multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence across the organizationSupport business development through proposal preparation scope development fee estimates and strategic client pursuitsMentor engineers and technical Engineering or a related field10 years of relevant engineering experienceProfessional Engineer PE license requiredTechnical SkillsPreferred specialized technical trainingSignificant experience designing potable water distribution systems transmission mains storage facilities booster pump stations and water treatment infrastructureHigh degree of proficiency with hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWater InfoWorks WaterGEMS HEC RAS or similar applicationsExpert knowledge of EPA state and local drinking water regulationsAdvanced critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to anticipate complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutionsAdvanced collaboration and leadership skills across multidisciplinary teamsOutstanding communication skills with clients stakeholders and executive leadershipStrong organizational and workflow management skills for complex engineering programsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and BluebeamCustomer
