### Must have:
### - We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer C++ with 8+ years of software development experience. - We prefer a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience building numerical modeling software. - We need strong proficiency in modern C++ (17+). - We need experience developing and maintaining Windows desktop applications using frameworks such as WinForms, MFC, Win32, Qt, or similar tools. - We need a solid background in numerical methods, algorithms, and scientific or engineering computing. - We need hands-on experience with Git, branching approaches, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices. - We need experience with unit testing frameworks such as GoogleTest, Catch2, or similar, along with a testable coding mindset. - We need the ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - We need experience with .NET and C#. - We require current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer employment visas. - We prefer familiarity with parallel computing or GPU programming such as CUDA, OpenCL, or DirectX. - We prefer a background in hydrologic modeling and water resources engineering. - We prefer strong debugging skills using Visual Studio, VS Code, profilers, memory analyzers, and related diagnostic tools. - We prefer experience creating internal technical documentation or helping shape architecture roadmaps.
Responsibilities:

- We will expect you to architect and improve high-performance C++ simulations that represent real-world hydrology. - You will help develop and refine our Windows desktop applications and cloud-based SaaS platform. - You will address complex technical challenges involving computational efficiency, numerical stability, and large-scale data. - You will work closely with water resources engineers to turn scientific concepts into production code. - You will participate in code reviews, technical documentation, unit testing, and ongoing process improvements.
