**What You'll Do**

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and leaders to deliver core products. Your responsibilities will include:

* Partner with design and product management leaders to shape and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the team, while maintaining a balanced approach that considers both platform and product perspectives
* Lead initiatives such as architectural changes, improvements in the hiring process, enhancing engineering effectiveness, and managing post-mortem processes.
* Provide technical leadership and drive development in a dynamic, startup environment for a broadly scoped engineering team
* Up-level the team by mentoring team members by setting expectations and help them grow to take on larger workstreams with confidence
* Enforce high-quality deliverables and raise the bar for engineering excellence by building and operationalizing tools, monitors, and processes across the organization

Requirements

**Qualifications**

* 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
* Experience building customer facing products
* You have seen systems operating at significant technical and organizational scale
* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Experience in building projects with good abstractions and architecture
* Comfortable at developing scalable and extendable core services used in many products
