Senior Mechanical Engineer (Structures)

Job Description

The role involves designing and developing critical structures for portable nuclear microreactors, including shielding and high-temperature systems. Responsibilities include performing detailed thermomechanical and dynamic analyses, managing BOMs, and overseeing subassembly manufacturing and testing.

Requirements: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field with over 6 years of structural design experience and 4 years of stress analysis using FEA tools. Proficiency in CAD and the ability to perform hand calculations for structural integrity are essential.
