We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer based in Latin America to join our team on a contract basis. You will work alongside a distributed engineering team to design, build, and ship features, bringing solid technical experience and the ability to own well-scoped work independently.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain features across our backend and/or frontend systems.

* Take ownership of well-scoped projects from implementation through delivery.

* Collaborate with engineers, product, and design partners across time zones.

* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

* Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements
- -----------

* 3--5 years of professional software development experience.

* Proficiency in one or more modern languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.

* Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases.

* Excellent English speaking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a distributed team.

* Based in Latin America and able to overlap with standard US working hours.
