Staff Software Engineer (Journeys)

Job Description

The Staff Engineer will serve as the technical anchor for the Journey team, owning the architecture of Headway's communication systems and decision engine. They will design scalable channel orchestration and implement LLM-powered personalization to improve patient and provider engagement.

Requirements: Candidates need 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record at the Staff level, specifically building high-volume, event-driven communication platforms. Expertise in multi-vendor delivery stacks, experimentation infrastructure, and production-grade LLM systems is required.
