Validation \& Engineering Group Inc V\&EG a Pinnaql company is a leading services supplier who provides solutions for the Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Chemical Food and Medical Devices industries in the following areas Laboratory Compliance Computer Engineering Project Management Validation and other services We are seeking a talented dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position Project Engineer FacilityDescription Provides owner side project engineering support to the Facilities Utilities Mechanical Electrical Leads during the Buffer Prep Buffer Hold BPBH brownfield expansion within an active 247 GMP facility Acts as owners representative for facility side construction packages coordinating and overseeing the General Contractors GC execution owning field level permit to work walkdowns safety and coordination and supporting the Leads in reviewing the AEs Fluor design The role spans the facility built environment disciplines facilities utilities clean black mechanical and electrical Design authority and responsibility rests with the Leads and AE; this role supports design review and execution oversight physical work is performed by the GC The incumbent supports the Leads owns owner side coordination of the assigned packages and develops discipline expertise through the project Responsibilities Serves as owners representative for the assigned facility construction packages; provides day to day oversight of the GC and its subcontractors monitoring progress quality and compliance against the approved designOwns permit to work PTW coordination and issuance including LockoutTagout for electricalenergized tie ins for construction activities within the active 247 GMP facility; enforces construction segregation from live manufacturing and coordinates tie insshutdown windows with site operationsConducts and participates in field walkdowns inspections and punch list development; verifies installed work matches design and site standards before turnoverSupports construction safety participates in contractor safety evaluations supports the site safety plan and ensures GC adherence to EHS requirements on an active manufacturing siteActs as liaison and coordination point between the GC the AE Fluor site operations and the Leads; ensures construction activities do not negatively impact ongoing productionSupports the Leads in reviewing AE design deliverables drawings P\&IDs specifications loadsizing sheets and GC submittalsRFIs for alignment with standards Design review and support role design authority and responsibility rest with the Leads and AEWitnesses field testing appropriate to the assigned disciplines eg hydrostaticpressure and flushing for pipingutilities; meggercontinuityload and functional checks for electrical; supports turnover documentationMaintains as built documentation and field records; tracks open items field issues and schedule for the assigned packages and escalates to the LeadsSupports commissioning qualification readiness IQOQPQ turnover and startup alongside the Leads and CQV team; assists with field troubleshooting and handover to operationsQualifications Required Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Chemical Civil or a related engineering discipline3 7 years of experience in pharmaceuticalbiotech or industrial capital projects ideally in an owners representative or GCEPC field engineering capacityExperience with brownfield construction in an operating facility permit to work systems field walkdowns construction safety and contractor coordinationWorking familiarity with one or more of the coverage disciplines Facilities built environment architecturalCSA interface cleanroom finishesflooring general facility infrastructureUtilities clean utilities WFI clean steam CIP clean compressed air and black utilities chilled water cooling water plant steam compressed air drainageMechanical HVAC air handling chillers compressors pumps and mechanical equipmentElectrical power distribution MCCs panelsswitchgear cable tray conduit and field cabling including wiring to instruments Sufficient familiarity with one or more of the coverage disciplines listed above to support the Leads and coordinate the GC Design level mastery is not required at this levelGMP awareness and the ability to coordinate work safely within an active 247 manufacturing environmentTechnical Writing skills and investigations processesAvailable to work extended hours possibility of weekends and holidaysPreferred Construction management exposure;
