The role involves conducting isotopic analysis and trace element detection using various mass spectrometry techniques to support nuclear fuel cycle materials. Additionally, the engineer will assist in method development for sample preparation and ensure adherence to laboratory safety and radiation protection protocols.
Requirements: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field with knowledge of mass spectrometry and wet chemistry techniques. Evidence of exceptional ability through prior projects and the eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance are also required.
