Data Center Project EngineerAbout Pogue ConstructionPogue Construction is a family oriented faith based employee owned general contractor with offices in McKinney Fort Worth and Houston Texas For nearly 60 years we have built a reputation for delivering exceptional projects while investing in our people clients and communities As an Employee Stock Ownership Plan ESOP company every team member has the opportunity to share in our success As we continue to expand our Mission Critical and Data Center portfolio we are seeking a motivated Project Engineer who is passionate about project management and eager to help deliver complex fast paced projects that demand the highest standards of safety quality and reliability PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Stationed onsite or visits job site regularlyCollect submittals from SubcontractorsPrepare submittal register and review submittalsReview process and send RFIs to architectReview returned RFIs and distribute to appropriate subcontractorsPractice document control by processing and filing RFIs and Submittals in appropriate locationsPrepare submittal and RFI log information for OAC meeting agendaSchedule various project meetings eg preconstruction meetingsUpdate drawings with all changes electronically RFIs submittals RFPs addenda etc; Link drawings using BlueBeamCMICAssist project management staff with pay applications as neededAssist in collecting pricing from subcontractors as neededSupport scheduling of subcontractors and material deliveryComplete project closeout in an efficient and timely mannerCreate and complete Pogue Pre PunchlistCreate and complete Architect PunchlistCollect closeout documents and prepare Closeout ManualSchedule owner trainingSupport with tracking and scheduling of warranty itemsOther tasks as assignedPreferredExperience with data center mission critical industrial healthcare or large commercial construction projectsExposure to MEP systems coordination and installationExperience utilizing Procore Bluebeam Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar construction management softwareOSHA 30 CertificationBachelors degree in construction management Engineering or related field or equivalent field experienceWhy Pogue ConstructionEmployee Owned ESOPCompetitive compensation and bonus opportunitiesComprehensive health dental and vision benefits401k with company matchProfessional development and career advancement opportunitiesFamily oriented and faith based company cultureOpportunity to help build and grow Pogues Mission Critical and Data Center market sector
