Job Description

The role involves supervising field staff and managing construction inspection, testing, and quality control for roadway and rail projects. The Assistant Resident Engineer acts as the primary liaison between the client, project team, and contractors while reviewing project documentation and schedules.

Requirements: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field and at least 7 years of relevant experience in resident engineering or similar roles. Proficiency in Caltrans standards and a valid driver's license are required, while a PE license in California is preferred.
