Job Description

The Resident Engineer plans and oversees construction field activities, including reviewing engineering layouts and managing subordinate personnel. They act as a primary liaison between the client and contractor to resolve daily disputes and ensure project documentation is accurate.

Requirements: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in California. A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required, including at least 5 years as a Resident Engineer on Caltrans highway projects.
