### Must have:

### - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering - 2 to 4 years of professional engineering experience - Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems - Knowledge of problem-solving methods and engineering theory, with the ability to apply both effectively - Familiarity with engineering designs, principles, and professional practices - Broad working knowledge of regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and procedures relevant to the discipline - Preferred: graduate study in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management certification - Preferred: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification - Preferred: strong written and verbal communication, presentation, report writing, and technical documentation skills - Preferred: strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and managers - Preferred: consulting and needs-assessment skills - Preferred: working knowledge of analysis tools such as CYMDIST, PSS/E, Python, PLS-CAD, Pole Foreman, Power BI, or similar software

Responsibilities:

- We independently carry out technical assignments and support the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of our utility infrastructure, including electric or gas distribution, transmission, substations, and related systems - We perform engineering studies, technical calculations, specifications, permitting, work packages, and performance reviews to support safety, reliability, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards - We analyze electric, gas, and/or communications system performance, including outage data, to identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, and grid performance - We support cost estimating, budgeting, and integrated system planning - We collaborate with engineering, operations, construction teams, and external partners - We conduct field inspections and assist with project execution - We may work extended hours to support storm response or other energy delivery emergencies - We collect data, complete complex analyses, interpret results, draw conclusions, and present recommendations to management - We handle engineering work on large projects or multiple smaller projects, including complex power flow analysis and engineering testing - We may lead engineering tasks for major or multiple smaller projects, validating studies, blueprints, and designs against accepted engineering standards - We evaluate the effectiveness of current technical systems and processes and contribute as part of project teams - We provide technical support to senior engineers, managers, and other stakeholders - We use our technical expertise to promote a safe work environment and improve customer satisfaction
