Location Location Security Clearance Security Clearance Job Type Full Time Target Salary Range XX000 XX000 This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level years of experience andor certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary Position OverviewAmatriot is looking for a project engineer to join our team at NSWC Carderock As a project engineer you will level your background in electrical engineering or naval architecture to contribute to the execution of technical tasking involving naval refueling efforts to support the fleet Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the preparation of project scopes schedules and budgetsAssisting with creation of high level project goals and objectives translating those into executable tasks and leading multi disciplinary team through task executionSupport planning for fund execution obligation and spend plans across multiple performers and projectsCommunicate with Government sponsors directlySupport the development of briefing material as well as project and program reviewsAct between the project planning and technical aspects of projects and programsQualificationsMust be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearanceBachelors Degree in an Engineering Discipline8 years of engineering experience5 years of experience as a project engineer or program manager3 years of experience with Navy andor DoDExperience with financial planning for project executionStrong skills with Microsoft Office suiteStrong Excel capabilities with regards to data analysis and financial management ie making effective organized spreadsheets for funds executionmanagementDemonstrated proficient interpersonal skills excellent oral and written communication skills analytical skills problem solving and organization skillsCandidate must show strong initiative be detail oriented a team player and communicate well Preferred QualificationsExperience with software developmentExperience supporting the US Navy
