Onsite Travel As needed Join the Maverick Power Team At Maverick Power we dont just build power distribution solutionswe redefine industry standards Recognized on the 2025 Inc 5000 list as 16 in the US 2 in Manufacturing and 1 in Texas we are committed to driving innovation quality and speed With multiple manufacturing facilities across North Texas and Phoenix we are expanding rapidly and looking for top talent to grow with us If you are ready to be part of a high energy solutions driven team where your work makes an impact Maverick Power is the place for you What We Offer Competitive Salary Bonus PotentialPaid Time Off 401K Matching Medical Dental and Vision BenefitsHigh growth organization with advancement opportunitiesDiverse Collaborative \& Fun Work EnvironmentAbout the Role The Senior Staff Engineer is a senior technical leader reporting to the Director of Engineering serving as the departments primary point of technical escalation for power distribution systems The role owns system level engineering direction across electrical and mechanical design without direct people management and works across Design Applications and Product Engineering plus Manufacturing Field Service Quality and Supply Chain to keep solutions safe compliant and manufacturable Key Responsibilities Act as senior technical authority and escalation point for complex issues on low and medium voltage switchgear switchboards and panelboardsLead special projects and mission critical designs including protective relaying schemes communications architectures and other high reliability system requirementsDrive strategic engineering initiatives technology roadmaps platform development and standardization aligned to department and company goalsProvide system level technical leadership across electrical and mechanical design for safety performance reliability manufacturability and code complianceLead and participate in high level design and architecture reviews exercising escalation authority as neededPartner with Manufacturing Field Service Quality Purchasing and Supply Chain to resolve cross functional technical issues across the product lifecycleSupport Applications Engineering and Sales with advanced guidance on product capability compliance and non standard or complex applications including pre and post award technical escalationProvide technical input on makebuy decisions vendor selection and componentsupplier qualificationEnsure compliance with applicable codes and standards UL NEC IEEE ANSI IEC CSA and internal engineering standardsMentor engineers across disciplines through design reviews technical guidance and knowledge sharing;
