Design Engineer

Job Description

The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical components. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet performance, efficiency, and reliability requirements.

* Create detailed designs for electrical components.
* Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance metrics such as efficiency, torque, and durability.
* Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, meet industry standards, and ensure product specifications meet or exceed expectations.
* Prepare technical documentation.
* Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs.
* Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations.
* Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

* 1-6years of experience in design engineering.

* Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.

* Proficiency in CAD software.
