**PeopleSoft Engineer**

**Location:**Remote, United States

**Terms:** 6-12 Month, W-2 Contract-to-Hire

**All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.** **This role is not open to C2C candidates or third-party vendors.**

Capstone IT is helping our client to hire a PeopleSoft Engineer to support and enhance PeopleSoft Financials applications. This role focuses on development, integrations, production support, and ongoing enhancements within Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and related Financial modules in an Agile environment.

**Responsibilities**

* Develop, enhance, and support PeopleSoft Financials applications, integrations, reports, and batch processes.
* Provide production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and ongoing system maintenance.
* Design and implement solutions for Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and related Financial modules.
* Support testing, code migrations, releases, and change management activities.
* Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and technical teams to deliver business solutions.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and operational support activities, including on-call support as needed.

**Required Qualifications**

* 10 years of PeopleSoft Financials development experience.
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
* Strong experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, SQR, BI Publisher, and PS Query.
* Experience supporting Accounts Payable and Purchasing modules, including procure-to-pay processes, requisitions, purchase orders, receiving, vouchers, payments, and approvals.
* Experience with one or more additional Financials modules including General Ledger, Asset Management, Expenses, or Inventory.
* Strong SQL development and reporting experience.
* Experience developing and supporting integrations.
* Experience troubleshooting application, integration, reporting, security, and batch processing issues in production environments.
* Experience with unit, integration, and UAT testing.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience with PeopleSoft administration activities, including Process Scheduler, application servers, migrations, environment refreshes, logging, and tracing.
* Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

**Deliverables**

* Technical designs, code changes, and supporting documentation.
* Completed enhancements, integrations, reports, and queries.
* Test plans, test results, and deployment documentation.
* Production support resolutions, knowledge transfer materials, and weekly status updates.
