WattAir is an early-stage climate technology company developing practical systems that produce water from air while making better use of available energy. We are building for a future where reliable water can be generated closer to where it is needed, particularly for agriculture, industry and data centers. Our culture is grounded in hands-on ownership, technical honesty, speed, resourcefulness and a willingness to solve difficult problems together. We value people who care deeply about impact, take responsibility for outcomes and are excited to turn ambitious ideas into products that work in the real world.
We're hiring a Head of Manufacturing and Commercialization to join WattAir and help us take the next step from working prototypes to reliable, field-ready products. We're looking for a senior, hands-on operator who has experience building real hardware and understands what it takes to move from a custom prototype into repeatable manufacturing and commercial deployment. This person will take ownership of supplier development, manufacturing partnerships, design for manufacturing, assembly processes, quality, reliability, serviceability, certification planning, and the practical engineering decisions required to scale a new product platform. Strong workshop and fabrication experience would be particularly valuable, including hands-on experience assembling, modifying, troubleshooting, and improving mechanical systems. Experience working with sheet metal, frames, enclosures, piping, HVAC equipment, industrial components, or fabrication partners would also be highly relevant. This is not a purely advisory role. We need someone who is comfortable working in the workshop, visiting suppliers, reviewing builds, solving problems in the field, and creating enough structure for the company to grow without slowing down its momentum. It is a chance to join WattAir at an important stage, work closely with the founders, and play a major role in building a company focused on addressing water scarcity and improving how energy is used. The role is full-time, with Atlanta preferred. If this sounds like you, or you know someone who could be a strong fit, please reach out or share the opportunity.
