Senior DevOps Engineer

### About the Role

This is a high-ownership infrastructure role at a fast-growing AI-native B2B SaaS company serving enterprise retail brands. You'll architect, build, and maintain the cloud systems that power a platform handling critical consumer intelligence workloads --- working closely with backend and ML engineers to keep things secure, scalable, and highly reliable.

### What You'll Do

* Architect and build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (Terraform/Terragrunt) on AWS.

* Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, converting manual processes into automated, repeatable workflows.

* Own production reliability --- set up observability stacks, define SLI/SLOs, and lead incident response.

* Implement and champion GitOps workflows for all infrastructure deployments.

* Build compliance-ready infrastructure (SOC 2, GDPR) with IAM best practices and secrets management.

* Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability at scale.

* Create developer tooling and documentation that accelerates engineering workflows across the team.

* Mentor team members on DevOps best practices and help guide broader infrastructure strategy.

### What We're Looking For

* 5 years of end-to-end infrastructure ownership in production environments.

* Hands-on infrastructure work within the last 2 years (not purely architectural).

* Strong expertise with Kubernetes, with EKS experience preferred.

* Proven track record building and managing AWS infrastructure for B2B SaaS products.

* Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in production.

* Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform and Terragrunt.

* Broad DevOps scope --- infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and compliance --- not just CI/CD.

* Background at VC-backed startups or mid-sized technology companies.

* Currently based in the greater New York City area.

### Compensation \& Benefits

Base salary: **$160,000 -- $200,000 USD** annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
