Job Title: Mid L3 Support Java Java development skills: expert in Java, debugging production issues, and implementing fixes Production support mindset: understanding of live system constraints, rollback plans, and safe deployment practices SQL mastery: complex queries, data integrity checks, and data fix implementation across related tables Code management and release discipline: Git/branching strategies, feature/bugfix tranches, and merging/peering into release branches Primary / Should Have: Familiarity with deployment pipelines, CI/CD concepts, and build/test automation Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance impacts of code changes Problem-solving finesse: ability to decompose complex issues into implementable tasks Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and containerization (Docker) or orchestration (Kubernetes)\* DevOps understanding Secondary / Could Have: Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architectures, or service-oriented patterns Domain-specific experience in policy administration or claims processing to accelerate resolution Experience with automation or scripting to streamline investigations (e.g., automated data checks, log collection)
