JOB DESCRIPTION Flexjet is currently seeking a QA Automation Engineer The QA Automation Engineer analyzes the functionality of applications and designs automated tests to validate their performance and reliability Completes development execution and documentation of test plans and scripts Assists non QA resources in the planning and execution of user acceptance testing DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain design and implement test automation frameworks for a continuous integration and execution modelCreate and design the testing approach Unit Functional Integration System UserCreate automation tests by analyzing user stories acceptance criteria creating initial test designs writing scripts installing the automation testing tools and reporting resultsDevelop a repeatable process for designing developing and executing scriptsConduct tests document and analyze test results and present findings to development teamsPreparing reports on all aspects related to software testingParticipating in project meetings including AgileScrum grooming sprint planning sprint reviews and daily stand upsCollaborate within an agile software development process with software engineers subject matter experts and stakeholdersEDUCATION \& EXPERIENCE Understanding and knowledge of software engineering concepts and methodologiesUnderstanding of test cases and negative positive and regression testingUnderstanding of automation testing and experience writing automation tests for REST APIs and UIExperience with writing automation tests using one or more of the following Postman Playwright SpecFlow Cypress Selenium Appium ectExtremely proficient in one or more development languages ie C TypeScript JavaScript Python etcKnowledge of industry best practices for manual automation and performance testingExperience with deployments and CICD practicesExperience gathering refining and validating businesstechnical requirements interdependencies cross functional dependencies \& risksissuesKnowledge of application functions bug fixing and testing practicesExperience with systemplatform integrations and the ability to work cross functionallyShows initiative and is motivated to learnStrong communication skills oral and written; ability to communicate technical information to non technical peopleStrong interpersonal collaboration and consultative skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem solvingStrong attention to detail and committed to a high level of accuracy \& quality
