Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 6-Month Contract - possible to go permanent

Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday

**Timing**: Start Oct 1

Level: Junior to Mid-Level

**Compensation**: $48-52 1099

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications and system integrations. This role combines software development with production support and troubleshooting in a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and support business applications and system integrations.

- Develop and support web APIs, services, backend processes, and application components.

- Troubleshoot application, database, interface, and integration issues.

- Support application modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Assist with deployments, upgrades, patches, and system maintenance.

- Work with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Participate in incident response and production support activities.

Qualifications

- 4+ years of software development, application support, or related experience.

- Experience with C#/.NET preferred.

- Experience developing or supporting web APIs and system integrations.

- Experience with relational databases, including Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server.

- Experience supporting business-critical production applications.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.

Preferred Experience

- IIS and web application hosting.

- Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD practices.

- Agile software development methodologies.

- Experience supporting applications in operational or industrial environments.

Engagement Details

This is a 6-month contract position with strong potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Alpharetta, GA five days per week and be eligible for direct full-time employment without current or future sponsorship.
