Electrical Design Engineer - Microgrids, Morrisville/Raleigh, NC

Job Description

Develop electrical designs, single-line diagrams, and protection schemes for BESS, PV, and genset microgrids ranging from 500 kW to 200 MW. Manage project execution from RFQ through commissioning, ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, and utility interconnection standards.

Requirements: Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in BESS, microgrids, or substation engineering. Proficiency in power analysis software like ETAP or SKM and knowledge of IEEE and NFPA standards are essential.
