Job Overview

We are looking for a **Senior Software Engineer** with strong experience in **Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and AWS**.

The role involves designing, developing, operating, and supporting scalable cloud platforms and deployment solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with **AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps, observability, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud migration**.

You will work closely with engineering teams to build reliable platform capabilities, improve deployment processes, and support applications across large-scale cloud environments.

Must-Have Skills

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in **Computer Science or a related field**

* Minimum **5 years of experience** in **Platform Engineering** , **DevOps** , or **Cloud Infrastructure** Engineering

* Strong hands-on experience with **AWS**

* Strong experience with **Kubernetes** , particularly **Amazon EKS**

* Experience with **AWS VPC** and related AWS services

* Experience supporting applications in **multi-account AWS environments**

* Experience migrating systems/data between **AWS IaaS and PaaS**

* Strong experience designing and maintaining **CI/CD pipelines**

* Experience building reliable CI/CD workflows supporting multiple application teams

* Hands-on experience with **Linux, Windows, and MacOS** administration and troubleshooting

* Experience with **observability and monitoring tools**, including:

* ELK

* Prometheus

* Grafana

* AWS CloudWatch

* Jaeger

* Hands-on experience implementing **GitOps principles**

* Experience with **ArgoCD or Flux**

* Strong understanding of **DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure**

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

* Professional certifications in:

* AWS Networking

* Kubernetes

* CNCF technologies

* Experience with **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** tools such as:

* Terraform

* AWS CDK

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable **cloud infrastructure and platform solutions**

* Build and enhance **CI/CD workflows** for application development and deployment teams

* Manage and support applications running on **AWS EKS, VPC, and related AWS services**

* Work with **multi-account AWS environments**

* Support cloud migration initiatives involving **AWS IaaS and PaaS**

* Implement and maintain **GitOps-based deployment practices**

* Manage Kubernetes-based application platforms and infrastructure

* Develop and maintain infrastructure using **Infrastructure as Code**

* Implement effective **monitoring, logging, and observability** solutions

* Troubleshoot infrastructure, operating system, deployment, and application issues

* Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and automation

* Collaborate with application development and engineering teams to provide platform capabilities

* Contribute to automation and operational efficiency through scripting and software development

Candidate Profile
