**Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead (6--10 Years Experience)**

**Role Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with 6--10 years of experience who can drive end-to-end quality assurance activities across Web, Mobile, and API-based SaaS products. The ideal candidate must possess strong business and functional understanding, exceptional analytical thinking, leadership capabilities, and the ability to proactively identify product risks before they impact customers.

**Mandatory Skills \& Experience**

**Functional Testing \& Product Understanding**

* Strong expertise in Manual Testing with the ability to understand complex business workflows and translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
* Ability to identify requirement gaps, ambiguities, edge cases, and business risks during requirement reviews.
* Strong impact analysis skills to assess downstream effects of changes across modules and integrations.
* Experience owning complete testing cycles from requirement analysis through production validation.
* Proven ability to challenge requirements and provide quality recommendations during design discussions.

**Automation Testing**

* Hands-on experience with Automation Testing frameworks and scripting.
* Ability to identify automation opportunities and contribute to regression automation strategy.
* Understanding of CI/CD-integrated testing practices is preferred.

**SaaS Product Experience**

* Minimum 3 years of experience testing SaaS products.
* Experience validating multi-tenant applications, role-based access controls, configurations, workflows, and subscription-based platforms.
* Understanding of production environments, customer impact analysis, and release quality management.

**Leadership \& Ownership**

* Experience leading or mentoring QA team members.
* Ability to independently drive test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
* Strong ownership mindset with proven experience coordinating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Stakeholders.
* Experience reviewing and improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.

**Testing Expertise**

Hands-on experience in:

* Functional Testing
* Regression Testing
* Integration Testing
* System Testing
* User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Smoke \& Sanity Testing
* Compatibility Testing
* Exploratory Testing
* End-to-End Testing
* Mobile Application Testing (Android \& iOS)
* Web Application Testing
* API Testing

**Technical Skills**

* Strong API Testing experience using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
* Strong SQL and Database Testing skills with ability to write complex queries for data validation.
* Understanding of logs, debugging techniques, and root cause analysis.
* Experience validating third-party integrations and backend services.

**Process \& Methodology**

* Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect Lifecycle, and Release Management.
* Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Experience participating in Sprint Planning, Grooming, Estimation, Retrospectives, and Release activities.
