Electrical Engineer, Protection and Controls R&D

Job Description

The engineer will design and manage protection and control schemes for campus power, including relaying from generation through distribution. Responsibilities include owning coordination studies, designing P&C architecture, and supporting field commissioning and root-cause analysis.

Requirements: Candidates must have hands-on experience with relay settings and coordination for medium and high voltage systems, specifically using SEL or equivalent platforms. Proven experience in field commissioning and investigating relay operations via event records is required.
